In 2012, the same method was adopted (constructed) for part of the facility. ◆ In 2017, tile shedding occurred in the unrenovated areas, prompting an urgent full renovation using the same method. 【Adoption Background】 ◇ Although part of the facility (approximately 300m2) had been renovated using our method in 2012, tile shedding occurred in the unrenovated areas in 2017, leading to an urgent full renovation using the same method. 【Selection Points】 ◆ By covering the wall surface with resin and netting and securing it to the structure with anchor pins, the color and design of the existing tile exterior wall are preserved, preventing tile shedding and improving safety and durability. ◆ The dedicated topcoat protects the substrate, enhances durability and weather resistance, and aims for a longer lifespan. ◆ This method has obtained a construction technology review certification (construction technology).

This is an example of the renovation of the exterior wall of a public facility in Kobe City (Welfare Exchange Center) using the color-retaining tile shedding prevention method "Clear Net Anchor Method." 【Property】 [Renovation] Kobe City Citizen Welfare Exchange Center (Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture) ◇ Construction Date: January 2016 ◇ Construction Area: 1,585 m² ◇ Substrate: Porcelain Tile 【Customer's Issues and Requests】 ◆ The exterior wall, originally composed of tile-embedded PCa panels, was expected to have minimal tile detachment; however, infrared inspection revealed some instances of tile detachment. ◆ Since the facility faces a major road and is used by many citizens, there is a desire to renovate it using a tile shedding prevention method for safety reasons. 【Adoption Background】 ◇ The building is high-rise, with the tile wall facing the sidewalk. Considering safety, the client requested our transparent resin-type tile shedding prevention method. 【Selection Points】 ◆ By covering the wall surface with resin and netting and securing it to the structure with anchor pins, the color and design of the existing tile exterior are preserved while preventing tile shedding.
